Did you know that while we are doing distance learning we are serving grab and go lunches at school for our WE students? Breakfast is served from 7:00 - 7:40 and lunch is served from 11:30 to 12:30. We encourage all eligible families to apply for the federal free and reduced lunch program. Parents can also manage your child's lunch account through the online School EZPay program, both of these programs can be found linked to this article.

The Stop Flu at School program will be offering free flu vaccinations at our school on Friday, November 6, 2020. This program is provided by the Hawaii Department of Health. For more information and to sign your child up, please go to https://vaxonlinereg.doh.hawaii.gov. Deadline to sign up is August 31, 2020.

Attached you will find a letter that we are emailing home to parents today regarding the WE Distance Learning Plan that we are implementing to start the school year. We thank our families so much as we try to navigate and adjust through these very trying times. WE truly appreciate your patience and hope that this communication clarifies our plan for Distance Learning.

The Hawai'i Board of Education voted to delay the reopening of school for students until Monday, August 17th (B Day Schedule). This will also include students who are doing 100% distance learning from home.

Due to new Department of Education agreements, Wheeler Elementary will be changing its instructional model to a blendend rotation schedule. Students will come to campus every other day for School-Based Learning (SBL) while other students remain at home for Home-Based Learning (HBL). An accompanying A Day/B Day calendar provides the list of which days are “A days” and which days are “B Days.”
