WE are excited to announce that we will begin everyday in person learning to all students on April 6, 2021. Our daily schedule will remain the same.

Hot Dog Pick up: 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. WE SCC online Community Meeting: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Grab and Go Meals are now only available at Leilehua High School. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:35 - 1:10 p.m. Wednesday from 11:40 - 12:10 p.m.

All HIDOE staff, contracted service providers, visitors and students must complete a wellness check each morning before going to the school/office. These steps will help to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and will keep schools safe for all our students and staff. Individuals who are exhibiting any symptoms or who have been directed to quarantine by the Department of Health should not come to campus.

Due to the need for unprecedented precautions, Wheeler Elementary will adhere to the Department of Health and Department of Education guidelines for students who display COVID-like symptoms. We understand that the new precautions may affect child care when a child becomes ill, however we are committed to maintaining the safety of all students and adults by requiring all students with
COVID-like symptoms to remain home until they meet the ​Return to School Criteria​.

Please continue to turn in your federal survey forms to your child's teacher or our school office. Attached you will find the official federal letter along with addresses for the different US Army Hawaii installations on Oahu to assist you with completing the forms.

In preparation for our return to learn plan, here's an updated version of our A_B Calendar, please note that the previously posted calendar dated 10.13 had an error in the A and B group last name breakdown. The corrected version should read that the A group has students with the A-K last name and the B group with the L-Z last name. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have created.
