Aloha WE Ohana, please join us for our Meet and Greet on Friday, July 31 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. If your last name is from A - K, please visit your your student's teacher between 12:00 - 1:00. If your last name is L - Z, please visit your student's teacher between 1:00 - 2:00 pm. We will have community resources, opportunity to complete lunch and bus application, meet the PTSO and learn about other services at our school. Food vendors will be available from 11:30 - 2:30 (approximately). Drop off your child's school supplies so they will not need to bring them on the first day of school!

School bus service Quarter 1 Applications opened on July 13th through August 7. You will need your child's student ID number to process the application. One application submitted per child. Please call the school at 808-305-9500 between 7:30 - 3:00 if you need assistance.

Help keep our students safe! We are looking for two dependable, friendly, Crossing Guards to assist students and families during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal. If you enjoy working with children and making a positive impact in your community, we'd love to hear from you.

Wheeler Elementary is actively seeking a dedicated, compassionate and positive individual to join our intervention team as a Growth Block Interventionist. This role provides crucial RTI-A (Response to Intervention-Academic) push-in support within general education classrooms. You will work directly with classroom teachers, the intervention team and the RTI coordinator to enhance student academic success.
This position is ideal for those passionate about student growth, who thrive in a collaborative school setting, and are committed to ensuring all learners receive targeted, data-informed instruction.

This is a reminder that school will end tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27 at 2:05. On Thursday, May 28, school will end at 1:15. Thursday will be the last day for students .

Please join us for our Spring Fling schedule for Friday, April 17 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm on the back Wheeler Lawn. Bring a picnic blanket and lawn chairs to get comfortable and enjoy the food, music games etc.. There will be a special Keiki Entrepreneur Hour from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. Please join us for the fun!

Helping Hands Hawaiʻi, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting families in our community, is excited to announce their Ready to Learn℠ (RTL) initiative for the 2026-2027 school year. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade are encouraged to register to receive free school supplies.

Applications are accepted through May 31, 2026 or until they reach their program capacity —whichever comes first.
