Fall Costume Parade

Thursday, October 31 at 8:30 a.m., students will parade around the school in their fall costumes starting at room G101, classes will join the parade as it passes by their classrooms.
Parade will end in the grassy field with an energizer and a group photo by the outdoor stage at 9 a.m.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent teacher conferences began today, October 23rd. Conferences run through Tuesday, November 5th. School ends at 1:00 p.m. on Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday. On Wednesdays school ends at 1:15 p.m. Conference date and time reminders are being sent home with your child's homeroom teacher. Please be on time and ready to learn how your child is doing in school.

Unity Day

Wednesday, October 23rd, the we are encouraging students and staff to join this national anti-bullying movement for inclusive, nurturing, learning environments for all. Everyone is encouraged to wear orange.

Boxtops for Education

There is a new digital program for collecting Boxtops. Add our Major Sheldon Wheeler Elementary and scan your receipts on the app. We are also collecting clipped boxtops from products. Thank you for your help!

Federal Survey Cards

Federal survey cards are going home this week. Please, take the time to fill them out for every student in your household. We would like to see 100% participation as the information helps provide much needed federal funding for schools. Thank you Col. Barrett for your letter supporting our schools.
