On Tuesday April 15, let's all wear purple to show support to our military keiki. "Month of the Military Child is a time to applaud military families and their children for the daily sacrifices and the challenges they overcome." Let's continue to show our support!

Pre-registration for the 2025-26 SY opens online at kamaainakids.com, on April 14, 2025, at 4 pm.

With nearly 100% student participation, we have surpassed our goal of more than 500,00 minutes reading logged into the #808 Reads site. In celebration, we will have Kona Ice on campus tomorrow, Wednesday the 9th. All students will receive a one flavor children's sized Kona Ice.

Join us for our annual open SCC meeting in the cafeteria this Wednesday, April 9th from 4:30 - 5:30. Entertainment will be provided by our hula and ukulele groups.

Attached you will find a letter from the Hawaii State Department of Health to encourage families to complete their measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccinations if they are not fully vaccinated. With the increasing risk of measles reaching Hawai'i, a high vaccination rate is the best way to prevent a measles outbreak. Mahalo.

In celebration of the month of the military child, we will have "wear purple" tuesdays and other dress up days to celebrate our military keiki. We will begin with a Bubble Launch in front of A building to kick off the month!

Reminder: No School in commemoration of Prince Jonah Kuhio's birthday on Wednesday, March 26th

WE are working with Project Hawaii to collect "full size" hygiene items for our houseless keiki on Oahu. Collection dates run from March 24 through April 7th.

Wheeler Elementary is starting our after-school special interest clubs here on campus for the 4th quarter for interested students in grades K-5. Students will be enrolled in a club in the order their completed Google form was received. Completing this Google form does not guarantee your child enrollment in his/her requested club. If your requested clubs are full you will be placed on the waiting list. If you have more than one child at WE, you will need to complete one Google form for each child. After you complete the form, click on "Submit Another Response" and you will be able to complete additional forms for each child.
