Our PCNC is hosting a Brewing Connections event on Tuesday, August 26th from 8:15 - 9:15 a.m. Meet other families, enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation.

Our PTSO is having their first meeting on Thursday 8/13 @ 1:30 pm. Meeting will be held in the transition center, upstairs of Building B. Mahalo!

We're so excited to welcome you back for the new school year! To help everyone get ready, please join us for our Meet and Greet on Friday, August 1st. This is a fantastic opportunity for students and parents to find their classrooms, meet their teachers, and get familiar with our school environment before the first day.

To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we suggest:

• Students with last names A-K: Please visit classrooms from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.
• Students with last names L-Z: Please visit classrooms from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM.

We also highly encourage you to bring your classroom supplies with you to the Meet and Greet. This will help make the first day of school even smoother for our students and teachers!

Wheeler Elementary is actively seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and positive individual to join our intervention team as a Growth Block Interventionist. This role provides crucial RTI-A (Response to Intervention – Academic) push-in support within general education classrooms. You will work directly with classroom teachers, the intervention team, and the RTI coordinator to enhance student academic success.
This position is ideal for those passionate about student growth, who thrive in a collaborative school setting, and are committed to ensuring all learners receive targeted, data-informed instruction. **PLEASE see attached document for more information.

All families are encouraged to apply for a free and reduced lunch for school year 25 - 26. When going through the application process you will need your child's student ID number (available with a quick phone call to our office) and use "central" as your search to pick the school district. Those who qualify will get assistance with bus fare prices. It also helps our school in qualifying for Title I funding. Mahalo!

Aloha WE Ohana! This is a reminder that bus applications open on July 14, right at midnight. Applications are on a FCFS (first come, first served) basis. Note that our buses were full to capacity last school year. Please be prepared with your child's student ID number. Contact the school office if you do not have your child's ID number handy.
